This week in Falcons we have been looking to create our own stories based on the book ‘The Well’ by Gary Crew. We only read the first chapter of this book and are now looking to write our own alternative endings for the story. The pupils have come up with some great ideas so far and have enjoyed exploring the characters in more detail.
In maths, we have been looking at worded questions, to help prepare us for test questions! In the coming weeks we are starting to looking into shapes in more detail and will start with properties of 3D shapes.
For our topic this half term, we have have started to look in more detail at What makes a good Pharaoh and will continue to look into Ancient Egyptian lifestyles. As part of this we will be visiting the British Museum on Thursday and Friday next week (9th and 10th May). You should have received a text message confirming which day your child will be going on, but if you have any questions please ask.
Remember that next week, we are not in on Monday (6th) as it is a bank holiday.
