‘The early years provision is strong.  Teaching is consistently good which has resulted in children making good progress.’

‘Children are well behaved.  They remain focused on the exciting learning opportunities offered to them, they help each other and they work amicably together.  This leads to a calm and purposeful learning environment in which children are safe and happy.’

What is the EYFS?

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the stage of education for children from birth to the five.  At our school that includes the Nursery and Reception classes. At the heart of the EYFS is the principle that young children need to play in order to have fun, make friends and to begin to learn and understand about the world around them.
